to play in my head<\/em>
before going to bed<\/em>
“So Mother Earth<\/em>
gave her child a song:<\/em>
Crinkle, crackle,<\/em>
leaves snapple.<\/em>
Chutter, chatter,<\/em>
chipmunks patter.<\/em>
Flap, flitter,<\/em>
birds twitter,<\/em>
Skitter, scatter,<\/em>
acorns splatter.<\/em>
And such was the song,<\/em>
to play in her head.<\/em>

Will Mother Earth’s wild child ever go to bed? She needs a song, a bedtime snack, her PJs, and then one more thing. What is that final request?
