Maine’s premiere readers theatre group, The Open Book Players, will perform a dozen Maine children’s books on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 2 pm at Oak Hill High School in Wales. Senior citizens and children perform side-by-side. Lynn’s books Happy Birthday, Maine!, If You Were My Valentine, and The Boy Whose Face Froze Like That! will be performed along with books by Chris Van Dusen, Matt Tavares, Samara Cole Doyon, Melanie Ellsworth, and Rebekah Lowell. Books will be for sale after the performance and most authors will be attending and autographing books. Sales are by the Children’s Book Cellar.
